3D MAXpider L1TL00401509 All-Weather Floor Mats for Tesla Model 3 2017 2018 2019 Custom Fit Car Floor Liners Reviews

I’ve never felt compelled to defend a product until I read the most critical reviews for these mats. This picture is after ~18 months of ownership. Not cleaned, just vacuumed. The mats are the best product available for the price. No hidden truths in the product description. They are the perfect fit. A review claimed they weren’t, with a photo of the mat on top of another floor mat. They are laser fit. They’ve saved me from countless spills, sand, mud, oily puddles, etc. Auto carpet underneath is still flawless. My 20oz coffee spill on the passenger floor during my 40 minute commute and I didn’t bother to stop and clean it until I arrived at work. No fuss cleanup. The design is sleek and minimal. The texture does not grab at footwearike I’ve experienced with other mats. They aren’t plush, they aren’t carpet, but still feel great under a barefoot. My only gripe WAS the 3D logo, but after a year, I could care less.I’m sorry to hear some people had the crease remain on the rear mat after unfolding. I did not have this problem.Cleaning is a piece of cake. I vacuum whenever I wash the car and have only ever felt the need to wipe with a wet rag a few times. Pulled them out to spray down with a hose once. If I wiped with an all purpose cleaner, they would be in nearly the same condition as new. They have held up well. After over a year later, I’m still 100% satisfied with this purchase. I have recommended this product to many other 3 owners and will continue to do so.

I’ve always been a Weathertech fan for all weather mats. I had them in two Infiniti vehicles. I’ve also used OEM all weather mats in several other makes. I was hesitant to go with these Maxpider mats due to my past experience with more well known brands. I have to say, these Maxpiders exceeded my expectations by a lot.The couple of things that stand out compared to the others I mentioned above:1) These are light weight, yet feel just as heavy duty at protecting the car.2) For the model 3, these cover the drivers side ‘dead pedal’ that no others do.3) For the model 3, the rear covers more of the middle section than the OEM carpet or all weather mats do.4) I’m 6’2″ and the model 3 ingress/egress seems to require me to put a lot of force into my feet to get enough leverage to position myself properly. All other mats would have shifted slightly due to this pressure, but amazing, the Maxpiders stays put. This is perhaps the most surprising and appreciated aspect of these mats for me.The down sides:1) Strong odor that lasted about a week and a half. If you’re sensitive to this kind of thing, you’ll want to air them out for a while before installing them.2) As some others have noted, there’s a visible logo on these. I don’t find it that large or obtrusive, but this is purely based on personal taste. All in all, this experience has sold me on the brand. Maxpiders will be my first choice for all weather mats in my future vehicles (ahead of OEM and Weathertech).

Almost 5 stars. What lost that 5th star for me was that I found no reason the back seat mats couldn’t have had the raised border closer to the seats and even follow the contour of the center console instead of straight across. Passengers who sit in the back middle seat will have their feet hanging over the raised border instead of inside it.

Having read many reviews before deciding to get this model, I’m happy to report that these mats are absolutely fantastic. They are quite lightweight, compared to the silicone or carpet mats I’ve normally seen. They are quite thin as well, which I really like. I’m not a fan of the huge thick mats you see so often. They installed in about 30 seconds, most of which was opening and closing doors, a fit like a glove with no adjustments needed. The ONLY “negative” I’ve seen is that there is a very small amount of play over the false pedal on the left of the driver’s side – the mat is perhaps 1 millimeter above the pedal so there is very slight mush when you step down as you get in or out of the car. This is *not* an issue and I’m not sure it wouldn’t go away if I moved it around a bit.I see a number of reports that these don’t work in newer models, but I see they have updated the title to reflect this. In the meantime this older version was discounted and the price-for-value is untouchable.Highly recommended.

While the MAXpider is among the most expensive options for floor mats for the Tesla Model 3, it is a superior product. I have had them for two months and I can say that they fit perfectly and they are robust enough that there is no unevenness around the edges (unlike Tesla’s trunk liner which is chintzy by comparison). They grip the floor below in a velcro-like fashion, so there is no chance for them to slide. The textured finish is classy and matches the upscale decor of the car. This is really one case where I believe it pays to buy the best.

Everyone reports that these fit perfectly but, for me, the front seats, especially on the driver side does not fit very well. And these are expensive compared to others but good quality.

Fits perfectly, 2019 model 3. They are much lighter than allweather mats and hold well to the carper under.
